Construction of this patch variant consists of
7/0.16 stranded copper conductors (26AWG) jacketed with Foam PE and then PiMF screened (pairs in metal foil) aluminium in this instance, with an overall tinned copper braid screen with 80% coverage.
Cable jacket is TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) which is low smoke halogen free compound with a flexible bend radius. It is ideal for outside applications having excellent cold temperature characteristics and UV resistant properties. Overall diameter is 6.4mm
Other variants include Cat7 with solid conductors and a range of jacket options to suit indoor/outdoor applications: eg. soft flexible pvc, LSZH, TPE and PE.
