Deva can supply several variants of this DMX cable. 1 and 2 pr options are available with mylar, foil and/or braided screen options for added inteference shielding. Outer jacket can be flexible pvc or LSZH compound. The photo shows two types of screening: mylar and aluminium foil.
Construction
The DMX cable supplied is constructed from tinned copper conductors 20(16)AWG with (red/blue) foamed polyethylene (FPE) insulation twisted into 1 pair. There are 2 x polypropylene ‘fillers’ used to enhance the concentricity of a 1pr cable. This is purely optional and non functional. The pair is screened (in this variant) with aluminium/polyester foil screen (125% coverage) with 0.2mm x 16 stranded tinned copper drain wire. The jacket is a soft flexible pvc composite measuring 6.00mm O.D.
Core colours are red/blue (1pr) + white/green (2pr) with a 300/500v 300v rating. The outer jacket meets BS EN 60332-1-2, CPR class Eca and is RoHS3 compliant.
Operating temperature is -20DegC to + 70DegC.
Applications – A smart control DMX cable developed specifically for DMX512-A indoor lighting control applications.
The cable jacket can be printed with your customer name, part number and /or brand. Braided screen options are available depending on the level of EMI which will dictate overall coverage.
