KNX

KNX is a standard for wired home automation and building automation. The concept allows integration of Building Management systems (BMS) over one common system. It is an open standard for commercial and domestic building automation. KNX devices can manage lighting, blinds and shutters, HVAC, security systems, energy management, audio video, white goods, displays, remote control, etc.

KNX is an OSI-based network communications protocol administered by the KNX Association and  approved to International Standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3), European Standard (CENELEC EN 50090 and CEN EN 13321-1).

Construction

The cable featured above is a 2pair screened LSZH. KNX cables are manufactured using 0.8 solid copper conductors, PE insulation twisted cores and Aluminium / Polyester foil screen + stranded tinned copper drain wire with low smoke halogen free outer jacket in GREEN or WHITE.   

Cable is 300v rated with min/max operating temperatures of -20DegC to +80DegC. CPR rated Eca.
