Microphone (8413) EPDM cable

This cable (alternative to a Belden 8413) is a ruggedized deployable microphone cable suitable for studio or outdoor audio use.

It can also be used in a variety of demanding applications such as Control & Instrumentation Systems, Signal Transmission, Robotics and Outdoor installations.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber) insulation and jacket provides excellent:

  • Durability
  • Flexibility
  • UV Resistance
  • Moisture Resistance
  • Elasticity
  • Temperature Resistance (high and low)

Cable construction consists of

2 x 24AWG stranded 45 x 0.08 tinned copper conductors with EPDM insulation, and a conductive textile wrap (100% coverage) + tinned copper braid shielding (60%) + cotton spiral wrap with overall EPDM outer jacket (5.05mm O.D).

Operating temperature is -40DegC to 90DegC. Voltage rating is 300v. Impedence 55ohm. Minimum bend radius is 50mm.
