Construction of RG303
Conductor material is solid silver coated copper clad steel, combining the conductivity of copper with the strength of steel. The dielectric material is made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with an overall braid shield made of silver plated copper (SPC) providing excellent electromagnetic shielding properties. The outer jacket material is made of Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) which is heat and chemical resistant.
The operating temperature range is -55DegC to +200DegC (especially important in military and aerospace applications) and has a nominal impedance of 50ohm with an operating voltage of 1900v.
