SOCAPEX® is a highly flexible control cable most commonly used in the temporary events industry, supporting concerts, exhibitions and outdoor entertainment events. The cable is a brand name owned by Amphenol but there are a number of generic alternatives / equivalents available on the market. It has a UV protected sheath and can be used in dry and damp environments.
SOCAPEX® is an 18 core cable available in 2.5mm2 and 1.5mm2. It has black numbered cores with a G/Y earthwire, containing flexible class 5 conductors with chalked PVC insulation and an overall PVC sheath. It has a voltage rating of 300/500V.
The benefits of using SOCAPEX® cable is that it can deliver six individual 20 amp circuits in one rugged cable assembly.
